What was once planned as an economic system is now mostly no longer profitable due to the elimination of the EEG* surcharges and the addition of CO2 taxes - especially if the system cannot be connected directly to the power grid. Even if the biogas plant still works perfectly after more than 20 years, the waste from agriculture and livestock has to be recycled or disposed of somewhere. *The Renewable Energy Sources Act - EEG (German: Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz) We have developed two proposed solutions for precisely this problem, with which even older, non-state-funded biogas plants can become economical again. On the one hand, the methane can be liquefied in a separate system unit and thus transported as liquid Bio LNG to even the most remote locations and used there directly. On the other hand, the split off carbon dioxide can be compressed in a separate CO2 system, purified to food quality and finally liquefied. As liquid CO2, you can sell it directly on the market and thus also save the CO2 tax. You can implement both or just one of our solutions for your existing system. Thanks to the direct connection to the gas network, the methane obtained from a pre-treatment unit can be utilized directly after cleaning and compression.
But even without a direct connection to the grid, the energy from biogas plants can be sold on the market and is easy to transport as liquid gas. This requires a system that can also liquefy small amounts of methane.
In our own production hall, we can plan and build both systems as mobile skids individually according to the needs of our customers. We can also deliver and set up the pre-treatment unit through our partners.
Bio-LNG obtained can also be transported to remote locations and made available there
Reduced volume due to liquefaction (600 times less than in the gaseous state). Hence lower transport costs
When using Bio LNG, 80% CO2 is saved compared to conventional fuel

The processing of biogas in the pre-treatment unit always creates carbon dioxide (CO2). Simply releasing this into the atmosphere is not only harmful to the climate, but also quite costly due to the new CO2 tax.
Therefore, it is worth connecting to a CO2 recovery plant. In this step, the CO2 can be compressed, cleaned and liquefied. Liquid CO2 from our systems corresponds to food quality and can be sold directly as a liquid product or filled in steel gas bottles.
We can plan and build the CO2 recovery plant in a wide variety of sizes and capacities in our own production hall according to customer requirements and then erect them at the customer's site. We deliver the system as a prefabricated skid - made in Germany.
No CO2 tax as no carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere.
Additional sales through direct sales of the liquid CO2 in food quality - e.g. to breweries or as fertilizer for greenhouses.
