About EnviTec Biogas AG

EnviTec Biogas AG is a company that plans, builds, manufactures and operates biogas and gas upgrading plants.

EnviTec Biogas AG has taken over the Bioenergie Park Güstrow and is expected to produce bio-LNG from spring 2023. Nawaro BioEnergie AG had been producing biomethane there since 2009. With the purchase of BioEnergie Park Güstrow, EnviTec wants to send a signal in favor of climate change in the transport sector and will produce around 9,000 tons of bio-LNG per year from spring 2023. The biogas processing plant, which has a capacity of around 500 GWh, previously fed into the 25-bar natural gas grid. The modification of Güstrow’s site requires among other things, equipment investments such as a CO₂ liquefaction plant, an LNG plant for biomethane liquefaction, as well as adjustments due to input reduction and conversion.
