Finally establishing a green hydrogen economy: This is the declared goal of HYPOS e.V.. CRYOTEC Anlagenbau shares this intention and can contribute a lot to the success of this project. Therefore, the company, which specializes in modular plant engineering and technical gases, has now joined the network of experts. Through the joint exchange with numerous members from a wide range of industries such as chemistry, mobility or energy supply, efficient and economical solutions are to be developed on how hydrogen can be used as a safe and green energy source in the near future.
In the field of hydrogen, CRYOTEC Anlagenbau already offers versatile experience, such as the construction of turnkey, containerized electrolysis plants or concepts for energy storage of fluctuating renewable energy sources. The company’s decades of experience in the handling of a wide range of technical gases gives CRYOTEC Anlagenbau the expertise to plan and build hydrogen plants that meet the high demands of customers for this innovative technology.
As a subsidiary of the EPC Group, CRYOTEC Anlagenbau GmbH can also access the accumulated expertise and experience of over 300 employees. Together with its sister company EPC Engineering & Technologies GmbH, CRYOTEC Anlagenbau GmbH is able to plan the entire necessary infrastructure for hydrogen projects. The group of companies can also take care of the complex approval procedure required for the construction of a hydrogen plant.

HYPOS e.V. is a network for everyone interested in the hydrogen economy. With over 125 members, HYPOS combines the potential of innovative SMEs with the competencies of industry and the expertise of universities and research institutes. Together, all HYPOS members pursue the goal of establishing a cross-sectoral green hydrogen economy. Currently 34 project consortia are investigating innovation potentials from power supply to production, storage, distribution and use of green hydrogen in the fields of chemistry, refinery, mobility and energy supply. The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is funding the project with 45 million euros as part of the program “Twenty20 – Partnership for Innovation”.
