CRYOTEC Anlagenbau GmbH was founded in 1995 and are based in Wurzen, Saxony. We are offering innovative solutions for technical gases, such as air separation plants, e.g. for the generation of medical grade oxygen, nitrogen or argon. All our plants are planned, designed and made by our in-house team in our own production hall at the headquarters in Wurzen. Our engineers and specialists take over comprehensive engineering services - nationally and internationally. Our service portfolio includes planning, production, assembly and commissioning as well as after-sales service.
For the generation of medical grade oxygen we offer two different solutions. We can build our PSA systems small enough to produce gaseous oxygen directly in the hospital. If you want to produce smaller amounts of oxygen, this is the right solution for you. If you want to produce a larger quantity of oxygen and need it in both gaseous and liquid form, then our cryogenic systems are the right choice for you. Both of our plant types can be delivered with cylinder filling stations. Each plant will be tailored to the specific needs of our clients. We will offer you full service during all project phases: planning, design, manufacturing, delivery, supervision, commissioning and start-up of the plant.

Cryogenic air separation plants are particularly suitable for the production of liquid and/or gaseous oxygen (O2), nitrogen (N2) and argon (Ar). Air separation is based on the cryogenic rectification process, in which the air is cooled down to -195°C and partially liquefied. During rectification, the individual air components separate due to their different boiling points. Afterwards the gases / liquids are available in highest purity.
Based on our customers special requirements, CRYOTEC has developed a mobile LOX/LIN plant for production of liquid oxygen and nitrogen by low pressure cryogenic rectification process. The plant is installed in 2 x 20’ containers and meets the technical requirements for the transport by aircraft.
These containers include the complete equipment that is needed for the cryogenic process: air compressor, air cooling and purification unit, cold box with cryogenic heat exchangers, rectification system, expansion turbine and LOX/LIN tanks.
Additionally, the plant can be equipped with LOX/LIN pumps, vaporizers and filling manifold for providing high pressure gaseous oxygen/nitrogen in cylinders. For plant operation the cold box is set up by means of hydraulic system while it is folded down for transportation. The electrical cabinet, the analyzers and the control system for automatic plant operation are stored in a divided part of one of the containers that is fully air-conditioned.
